I bought this from zZounds' Reverb shop just the other day. I think I'm one of the first people to order this particular Limited Edition. Let me just say that's it's totally worth it!The combo is aesthetically gorgeous, a big upgrade from the standard Fender tolex and grill cloth, IMO. It just looks expensive and classy and both a little bit country and/or a little bit rock 'n roll. Then there's the sound. Two things are worth noting vis-a-vis a standard run 65 PRRI; 1.) The G10 speaker is a huge upgrade. It's amazing. 2.) I have no evidence of this other than my ears, but it seems that either the tubes are better quality than a standard PRRI or maybe it was more carefully biased or whatever, but it's amazingly quiet and the tone is pure sweetness, more than I would expect, and more than I have gotten in the past, from a high-volume production fender model. And, like any PRRI, it takes pedals like you wouldn't even believe.

I have been playing for 55 years and i've owned over 25 amplifiers in my life. This amplifier is absolutely perfect and worth every dollar I paid for it. zZounds is a cut above, there customer service is a cut above. Now for the amplifier, as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on, I was blown away. What I realized was, you don't need a whole bunch of eq to shape your sound. Bass 5, treble 6 and its right. I have a fender elite telecaster and a fender tuff dog mearle haggard telecaster. My pedal is a boss me-50. Because my pedal has an output level I can bump it up to 50 percent and my princeton 15 watts sounds like 50 watts. This amplifier will be with me for the rest of my life. Thanks zZounds, and special thanks to Fender for such a wonderful product.

I'm extremely impressed with this amp straight out of the box. The addition of the Greenback speaker adds warmth and an incredible amount of bass for a 10 inch speaker. I'm not in love with the stamped leather look but it's put together very well and seems durable. I swapped in some higher quality tubes and this amp just gets sweeter and sweeter the more time I put on it. I'm not sure I'll ever part with it. It's super clean and the reverb is very nice. It takes a little more to get to the breaking point and it might be due to the Greenback but it's there. I'm really glad I spent the extra money and purchased the Princeton over the Blues Junior that I was originally going to get. I feel like I've found a lifelong friend. It plays well with my Jazzmaster, LP and ES135 with some slight tweaking here and there. *I still wish there was a standby switch.
