Sound
This American Standard strat has the classic strat sound with modern updates and I chose it over the deluxe strat for that very reason.
Ease of Use
The action was great and setup to play right out of the box. Super smooth!!
Quality
This guitar has great fit and finish.
Value
A great guitar for the money. Very happy Fender hasn't priced themselves out of market like other manufacturers.

I have been a Gibson Les Paul user for the last 15 years and I never thought I would like any other guitar than the LP but this Guitar is just amazing right out of the case! I bought this guitar because I was looking add to my sound a little bit of the strat like arpeggios and such but as I am playing it I realized I have a wide variety of tones that I can really use when recording and playing live. The action its great, the sound and the quality is just what you expect from an American made Fender Stratocaster. If you are looking to get that unique sound, do not hesitate to get this beautiful guitar. The finish is flawless and I really love the maple neck.

Beautiful candy cola guitar with excellant craftmenship. Only had to do a set up as the chords were off quit a bit. Have owned other Stratocasters and have had no problems what so evere and plan to not have any with this one. I have owned an American deluxe and I like the sound of this one better. But an American made as the quality is far superior. Zzounds had my guitar in my hads in omly 3 days.

i totaly dont regret buying this guitar. i will keep it for as long as i live.
Sound
when it comes to stratocasters you know what it will sound like. it will sound like a stratocaster. its a iconic sound in rock n roll music. the sound on mine is perfect for the kind of sound i go for which is that mid range punchy sound. by far the best guitar ive ever played.
Features
it has three pickups, a five way switch, two tone controls, and one volume control. theres alot fo room for several different sounds on this guitar.
Ease of Use
i just set the tone and volume on this and plug in and rock out.
Quality
the only reason i gave this a eight is because the tremelo block is kinda weird cuz i cant get the wammy bar all the way in but its not a serious issue for me because its not like im gona need it for the type of music i play. and the bottom tone knob on mine is the tone for the bridge pickup and the other tone is the tone for the neck pickup. i dont know if thats on purpose or it was a mistake but i like it like that.

Very satisfied with the guitar and with ZZOUNDS. I am waiting for the delivery of a Martin OM1 on Tuesday from ZZOUNDS, i am sure it will be Top Notch like the others
Sound
Very impressed with this guitar. I owned a Mexican Strat and it was just ok. Fun and comfortable to play. After receiving this American Strat the difference was like Night and Day. Quiet no buzz the tones from all three pickups was exactly as expected.
Features
Came with the new TSA Case. I would have liked the tweed case but quality and protection wise this is the case. Sturdy balanced and airtight. Got the normal Allen Wrenches, cleaning cloth, generic owners manual, 10' cord and trem bar.
Ease of Use
In the past I have only played Gibsons and Epiphones but when I took the chance and bought the America Strat I am glad I did. With the rolled Fret board I think it is easier to play than my Les Paul. Can't compare the sound between them each are different and great in their own style and way. For a $1200 guitar a product specific Owners Manual would have been nice. But $2500 My Les Paul has a generic one also.
Quality
I closley inspected and found zero defect on this guitar. The shipping from ZZOUNDS was perfect. Packed to perfection.

Caught this one before the price increase but before the rebate!!!

I only used Fender support in 1970 for my Bandmaster Amplifier. The ready light nut rotated off and shorted out the high voltage transformer. The provided me a Showman to play while my was being repaired. I have owned a 1969 Princton, 1969 Bandmaster, a new Super Champ, Frontman 212 and the two strats. The only problem was the one I said above. That is a good example of excellent products.
As far a ZZOUNDS go they are great! I have bought Three Guitars from them all shipped fast and Packaged very well. When I have questions they answered fast and complete. I sent a review on this guitar in May and they did not post so I am doing it again.

It's an America Stratocaster.. Nothing more to say, you just have to have one!!! I bought the new color Blizzard Pearl, looks great. I wanted a Metalic Frost but was not offered.

this will probably be my last electric guitar i buy ? i have a fender telecaster (great guitar) a les paul (great guitar) a gretch (another great guitar) a fender jazz bass (excellent bass)and now the American Strat! i believe i'm done?
Sound
The sound is all fender and its good ! good action, good feel, good all around quality. with this guitar you can just about play any type music you choose? all depending on what type amp, effects, and settings you use? sounds very good on stage and even better recording. i play country, classic rock,and blues, mostly through an old vintage peavy musician and it sounds great.
Features
you get the standard fender guitar pack with it? allen wrenches,strap etc. i bought the candy cola maple neck and it is an eye catcher.
Ease of Use
i can get country ,rock are blues are just about any sound i like from this strat. i want say its better than my les paul but it definitely gives my les a run for its money and not as near as heavy?
Quality
it seems to be made very well. frets rounded , finish A-1 , quality guitar. i believe as long as take care of it, it will last me a life time.

this guitar is worth every penny ! you get a lot of bang for the buck !

I dot expect this guitar to satisfy me all the way we are always trying to find more ways to get better things in life and i know there are way better guitars dont get me wrong but that doesnt mean i going to trow this one away this strat shure is a keeper.

This is an amazing strat wth a strat sound that cant get anymore high quaility,the sound is very responsive to my playing from classic rock to , blues, and to clean style playing.I love the sound of this strat because it very bright and i just like the way it is.

The case that came included was a very nice feature and so where the strap, cleaning cloth stuff like that and it does bring all the nessesary things to get started.
Ease of Use
this strat is very easy to manuever with than my othe guitars because the feeling of it is just amazing and you will get use to it relatively quickly.
Quality
the quality is amazing in the parts that it includes, the finish is beautiful and i wouldnt want it any other way 3-color sunburst i can most likely say that this strat will last me a lifetime thats if you take good care of it and i will depend on it forever.
The Wow Factor
i wanted this guitar ever since it came out but untill the end of the year almost i finally got it and this strat just looked so sexy when i irst saw it i would rate it a ten out ten just for the reason that the fret board is extra buffered. yet looks arent everything but in this case it has both looks and an amazing sound.

Sound
This Strat Rocks. The all maple body is solid built and provides a crisp exciting tone. The pickups are great for country and classic rock.
Quality
The maple body is pefect for the classic fender Stratocatster sound and the strat is well put together from top to bottom. There are no loose parts or bad clearences between parts. The guitar was ready to wail right out the box with only a quick tune
Value
You cant beat the price for the quality. Made in America is the way to go and the included case is bomb proof. This quitar is well worth the extra money over a strat made in mexico
