i expect this one to stay in the collection for a while its a definate keeper with all that versitality and awsome vibe, i like it no less than any of my other jazzmasters and a little more than some, dont miss the opportunity to own a great guitar at an awsome price, get this one!
Sound
amazing tone!!the neck p/u has that classic jazzmaster jangle the bridge gives you gainy tones perfect for broken up blues licks to blistering rock solos you can dial in almost any tone you can think of, my favorite is both p/u's on for rich thick tone with high end bite, vey versitile with the two defferent p/u combo on this axe.
Features
not many features but in my opinion thats what makes this axe so great!! very simple and to the point one volume one tone and toggle switch for p/u selection. a great neck its thickon top but slim! and fast at base, with rosewood skunk stripe on back and covered in poly gloss! mine has a great finish on the body i choose the vintage sunburst, its absolute eye candy, gets alot of compliments at gigs!
Ease of Use
plays like butter i gave a 9 because it does have typical jazzmaster issues with the bridge, be prepered for the usual remedeys if your a jm owner you know about using locktite for loose screws due to vibration of bridge, i used ptft tape for (plumbing pipe) on my bridge component screws and restrung with 10-46, and no rattle whatsoever stays in perfect tune! the jm works awsome with pedals too!
Quality
very durable well made, my 2 yr old daughter droped it off a kitchen table on its neck, i cringed thinking for sure it had snaped!! but to my surprize not even a scratch and it didnt even come out of tune!! im sold on this one. i gig this without a backup only after the ptft tape on bridge screws. otherwise those saddles will move on you!
Value
a jazzmaster for 450 dollors, with amazing tone and quality build, fantastic deal its made in mexico (big deal) i guess theyre doing great builds in mexico these days
Manufacturer Support
cmon its fender need i say more!! my past expierence with fender has been awsome, very supportive crew
The Wow Factor
very sexy guitar, even if your the most uncool looking musician at least ur axe will be cool on stage! if it sounded terrible i would own it for its pure vibe alone!

I will be asking for a refund , cant use this guitar at all , due to the static pickup in the neck , Also Not happy about the lack of setup from fender , and the weight of this guitar is so heavy that you would have to sit down to play it..
Sound
Sound Is not good at all , The guitar I got had issues with the neck pickup , Like ground issues or something that causes static, The bridge humbucker was Ok , but not pro status at all , sounded like a cheap humbucker.. Tried this jazzmaster out on both VOX AC15 & AC30 , Still very unhappy with the sound..
Features
Its a jazzmaster , so features are limited , Tremolo system is not the same as the older jazzmasters , No lock on the trem system , Guitar does come with hang tags & adjustment tools.. No case or gigbag Also If you own a Jazzmaster then you know about the bridge Issues , This one also has the same rattle and buzzing that almost all JM Have , I would say this bridge needs to be replaced with a Tune-o-matic style , Its just not a good design and causes tunning probloms and height Issues..
Ease of Use
I would not know , the guitar they shipped me , has neck pickup issues and was not setup at all ,,,The strings were laying on the fretboard , I guess fender mexico does not care to setup there guitars before they ship out..Not Cool
Quality
Ok Quality , Thats about all this guitar has going for It , It looks like a vintage fender , but lacks the sound of even some of the cheapest guitars. Its also very very heavy , even more so then a Les Paul USA Model .
Value
If you want to spend money after buying this guitar Then it might be for you , Thats If you can get a good version from the factory, For the cost of this axe you could get something way more playable and wont have issues , Like deluxe series from Fender ..
Manufacturer Support
I talked to fender , but they just told me what most of us already know , That MIM Guitars are not always setup from the factory & that i would need to have the axe setup on my own.. Bummer!
The Wow Factor
Looks are all it has going for It .. Just looks like a Vintage fender , but sounds like a very cheap axe.
