Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster Electric Guitar (with Gig Bag)

Access great acoustic tones with the look of a standard electric Telecaster body. It features Fishman piezo bridge pickup and a lightweight chambered ash body.

After a long and grueling decision process I finally ordered one from Zzounds (exceptional customer service as usual) and am I glad that I did. I ordered the 3 Color Burst.Finish - craftmanship and finish both get an A+ from me. I've inspected this guitar top to bottom and every which way that I can and did not find any flaw on the guitar's finish, neck fit in the neck pocket properly, no visible mis-cuts or mis-routes, frets were all dressed properly.Fit - a little high of an action for my taste out of the box but not bad enough that it's a deal breaker. A bit of setting up is just about to be expected with any stringed instrument as action is partially subjective in nature.Sound - well this is where I believe this guitar sets itself apart from other electric and/or electric-acoustics in the market. Purists may have a difficult time accepting the unique ability this guitar offers, the sound it produce is not the "pure" electric sound and definitely not the "pure" acoustic sound that a traditionalist might be looking for. Electric or acoustic tones on it's own, this guitar would rank average BUT when mixed together that is when it does it's magic and would then rank very high in my book.Overall Value - it is not inexpensive by no means and only time would tell if it will hold up but I have high hopes!

Features
It is the convenience of only having to bring one guitar to a gig with me that makes this guitar extra special.
Ease of Use
Once you learn the controls and get the right mix between the on board preamp and PA/Amp it's just like any other guitar - rock away!
