I bought this without any reviews or anything being on Zzounds, so never playing it before I knew that I was taking a risk. Man, am I glad I took that risk. This thing has the most full tone I have ever gotten out of a bass. I love this thing. I play in a punk rock band and its perfect! You can get any tone you want out of the two humbuckers. I love the simple volume and tone knobs. You cannot compare this to the sound of a Jazz or P bass like most people would like. If you're in the market to try something different with a bass, this is your bass to get. Only thing is it takes some getting used to playing a reverse guitar.

"SO much bass for the bucks"

I picked up a used one fairly recently, not knowing what to expect. This is an absolute monster. The deep rich sound this thing gives is just unbelieveable. I have a troy sanders jag bass, and several jazz and P basses from mexico, usa and japan. Nothing has quite the fullness of this one. Say what you want about the looks, personally I really like it. It has a bit of neck dive, but a leather strap cures the worst of it. I dont recommend moving the strap-pin to cure it, it might actually make it worse. Just get a wide leather strap instead. It is tricky to play past the 12th fret, but for the deeper tones its absolutely wonderful. I'm never getting rid of mine :D
