This is the greatest guitar fender has ever made. I bought the butterscotch & the color is beautifully done with great wood grains and body binding. The neck is so soft smooth and comfortable with the rolled edges & C profile down to a D with the contour beveled heel. Body has the belly cut, locking tuners & S1 switching. Sound wise these noiseless nr4 pick ups that are only exclusive to the elite series are the best noiseless to date. You can get you normal Tele tones but hit the S1 and it's like stacked humbuckers. Plus if you turn tone knob to full it's a no tone load and hotwires the pick ups straight to output jack. I played Gibson's for many years and you can't get this much quality or features for this price. No need to ever upgrade. Everything you need is here. Just plug in and play a tonal goddess.

I've been collecting high end guitars for the past couple of years. From 7 String Baritone guitars hand-crafted in italy, to Fender Custom shop strats. But none of them touch this. I swear to you this is the best guitar in my arsenal. Now i need to sell my other guitars so i can get this in every color.

Got it three days ago and played my first set with it today, so far it is exceeding all of my expectations. I had been wanting an American Telecaster for some time now and am happy I pulled the trigger on it. Love the neck and the action and so far it has pulled off every tone I have tried to pull out of it in style. S-1 system is just right on this one, I haven’t ever really found a use for it on my Strat but I appreciate it on this new Tele. The champagne color is gorgeous, photos don’t do it justice.

I've owned dozens of guitars and bought a fair share of them through zZounds. Without any superfluous hyperbole, I'd have to say this Fender Tele Elite is the finest electric guitar I've ever had the pleasure of wrapping my hands around.
