Fender American Pro Telecaster Deluxe Shawbucker Electric Guitar, Rosewood Fingerboard (with Case)

Beefy Shawbucker pickups give the American Pro Telecaster Deluxe plenty of output, while its narrow-tall frets will make playing leads a breeze.

This guitar kicks butt right out of the case. Fender did a great job with this new tele. The neck is an addictive one to play.. The new humbuckers are awesome sounding too. I can get a les Paul tone and have that tele feel at the same time. It's quite remarkable..turn the volume down a little and "bam". Right back to the tele twang.. I absolutely love this guitar. The new cases are very nice and roomy, built with quality.. Great job on this ax fender!

Thanks for a great Tele Deluxe Pro. i had played a friend's '72 tele deluxe many years ago in college but never purchased one. This guitar plays excellent and is setup extremely well.

First of all, in True Fender Style, this Axe is Awesome to play. The Rosewood fretboard is butter, and with just a few minor adjustments, the set up is great. Sound however has always been a bit weird. The Bridge pickup likes to feed back a bit, especially if there's even a little gain thrown at it. The Neck pick up is punchy, but a bit on the muddy side, (probably because I've got the Treble turned down on the amp to stop feed back on the bridge pickup) Then, about a week ago, during rehearsal, the Bridge pickup Stopped working at all. screwdriver tap on the pickup No sound at all. Open the Case, pull out the paperwork.. 2 year warranty expired in May this year. SO, Great PLAYING guitar, doesn't make any noise and it's a bit disheartening, I've got fenders that are decades old with no issues... This one was a Friday Guitar...

Its a cool guitar and thought It was going to be a different experience with the shawbuckers but to be honest, I did not bond with it, so had it setup with my G tech and still couldn't feel it, so sold it.The Baja Mex tele was so much better than this one that I had and cant recommend Feels too light and dare I say Cheap.
