Well the body of the guitar is solid, frets solid, neck solid. The hardware and quality control is absolutely horrible, let me say that again... absolutely horrible. The Floyd special, claw, springs, pots, tuners....all of the lowest possible quality and a nightmare to deal with. I love the feel of the guitar, and the wood but I will never buy this guitar again with the current options available. I have spent an additional $400+ in upgrade hardware parts and that will be the end of that. I do intend to buy the 1000 model of this guitar which comes with an original Floyd and better tuners and hardware overall. So be wary! this is a solid guitar build wise but you will be spending more money to upgrade components, save your money and just buy the 1000 deluxe model! Also good luck if you have to contact ESP their customer service might almost persuade you to not play the LTD brand, just like the quality control of Chinese made LTD their customer service is equally horrible.
