Guitar was packed very nicely, Well protected, Shipped fast as hell, Played nicely out of the box, I just changed the strings to Ernie ball 9's , I did a full set up with neck adjustment, It plays like butter and has a very nice sound, Does have a little pick up feed back but nothing to worry about for me and the price was excellent, The yellowish gold inlays are absolutely beautiful along the neck and the body, I love looking at the inlay with the dots while I'm playing. Will continue to buy these very well priced Epiphones from zZounds as the years go on.

First of all, the guitar is breathtaking. And when its not plugged in to those insanely high ouput pick ups, it sounds great. The pick ups though... MUDDY and not in a good way. I knew going into it this it would be an investment and now 500.00 USD later the guitar for my part is better then a Gibson. There is something like 50 FEET of unnecessary cable stuffed inside each WIldkat. 50... Feet. Google. I aint lying. I bought a pair of Lindy Fralin P90s and a custom bone nut and custom set up and wiring. Now its right as rain and the best player on the block (if only I could say the same about me:)

Pictures don't do it justice. Right out of the box, it blew me away. Been playing for 30+ years. So with that being said, I say Epiphone is putting out some great guitars now. It's not a Gibson (note the price) but really we all know most of the people we entertain can't tell the difference. It's hard for me to tell. My recommendation, buy it, play it, save money, save money, have fun and the entertained will be impressed.

I purchased this guitar from another guitar store (before I found out about zZounds). It needed a proper setup and several of the frets needed to be sanded on the edges. I replaced the factory strings with a quality set of "10's", now this is a BAD axe!! Great investment. At first the Bigsby would make this go out of tune often. After a correct setup, the guitar has stayed in tune much longer (even with hard use of the trem bar).
