Guitar plays and sounds amazing. I was a little hesitant because I wasn't a huge fan of the graphics, but they aren't as crazy in person. I'm pretty sure Epiphone dyed the ebony fretboard because in the first few hours a lot of it was on my fingers. Now it has kind of a cool stripe pattern that blends in with the inlays when you look up close. Neck pickup is real cool for a clean sound or chorus and delay. Between it being a with a huge body and the baritone scale it can difficult to play when sitting down. All things considered ,I'd recommend this guitar 100 out of 100 times.

Awesome instrument, people are quick to give it stars but fail to explain how BA this thing really is.
Sound
The sound is clear and concise, if the amp is set too high you will actually feel the low end when you chug or pedal notes. I found that the harder you pick the deeper the sound the EMGs in this guitar are amazing and yes active pups. The single coil in the neck position also sets the sound of this amazing guitar off.
Features
The best features wow there are too many for the price point of this guitar. Locking tuners, Strap locks, stop tail, active pickups. Oh and that awesome paint job, it will turn heads trust me.
Ease of Use
The neck is very fast and the string gauges (heavy) are not hard to fret, unlike my Jackson King V - Phil Demmel (Machinehead). The action straight out of the box is set low which is the best for this guitar because its made for speed and metal!
Quality
The product shocked me when I took it out of the case. I could not believe the quality of this guitar and the case also which the case graphic is as breath taking as the one on the guitar. Now for those people who know a lot of things about where they are crafted this one was made in Korea. Which right now is producing higher quality guitars then Japan. So that should speak for the amazing workmanship and quality of this fine guitar.
Value
I would have to say the value is a steal for all the features to include the case. For a guitar of this quality made by another manufacturer could cost upwards of $1200 and up without a case in some cases.
Manufacturer Support
The support from Gibson/Epiphone has always been great because they are backed by Gibson USA.
The Wow Factor
The wow factor is over the top with the sound and quality to match. The baritone neck is longer but it takes the slack well out of the strings when you drop tune. I have had no issues taking this guitar all the way down to low B and it still sounded amazing. My only concern is getting strings with the same gauges because the strings on the guitar seem to be a custom set.

Ok, first off- id like to say that I own the coolest guitar I've ever owned because of the pay as you play program. Eternally I'm debt to zzounds for that- it's not like it's free, but in this economy their efforts can mean the difference in you being able to have good gear or not. ONLY COMPLAINTS: (1) guitar was covered in dust - in the hard shell case when I recieved it. (2) it was sent severely out of tune (which concerned me with it having possible neck issues)- turned out fine. Normally not a big concern, but if some strings are just flopping around and others torqued up- anyone w experience in ruining a guitar neck wld understand. (3) Epiphone straplock are possibly the biggest gamble you cld ever take while holding your guitar. It's popped off 6or 7 times until I decided to make the $15 investment in some quality dunlops. Trust me , you don't wanna bounce this thing off of the floor because the epiphone junk came with it. Protect this beauty- all for $15 Ok all that out of the way. It's exactly what it looks like.its a beast. Everything is there. Tone, comfort, playability, looks, all of it. Those inlays that you see are actually routed in the neck. Countersunk, if you will. Very good craftsmanship. No complaints at all on this guitar. Shipped super fast, too. Neck is extremely comfy too. Pickups? Emg's (81 and HA) enough said. May need to run a small gate if your gain is cranked cause the pickups are super hot. Cleans are phenomenal for a V, too. It's pretty light. More or less, if you like V's -play heavy- like the graphics- buy this damn thing. Best guitar I've ever owned.
