I’ve been playing guitar off and on for 20 plus years and have been performing vocals since I was a kid. I’m not a $1,000 plus guitar player but I do know pitch and tone. I bought this guitar with the intention of strumming around on the couch so I’m not plugged up and driving my family/neighbors crazy. I’m very pleased with the playability of this AJ 220 and the sounds that are produced and projected while playing. It’s easy to play, the action is good and O am very pleased with my purchase! More than I expected! My star rating is based off of what I paid for this guitar.

I bought this guitar a couple of weeks ago. I've owned the epi masterbilt aj500re and the epi dr100 which arent bad for the price. This aj220s is a better sounding guitar for 200.00 it sounds and plays better than the low priced martins. Love this guitar. Only prob i had was i ordered a dreadnaught case by mistake. The headstock is too long and since it was on the pay as you play they wouldnt just swap cases which sucks. I bought one at the local pawn cheaper anyway. This guitar is the best ive found for the money. Actions low frets great even up high. Sound loud and punchy. Great bluegrass flatpicking or jazz guitar.

Delivered in 4 days, found no defects or flaws, the set-up was, for me perfect out of the box, strings and neck action low and smooth. Always wanted a Gibson J series this for the $ is awesome, solid top, binding flawless, neck is smooth as butter., sounds so good. Strongly recommend, zZounds is great!
