Sound
Used in bass guitar cab as a replacement speaker and was very happy with tone, deep smooth bass and good power handling. Not a "bright" speaker but then cabinet I have has a horn for that so this is ideal in mellowing out the sound and delivering that 15" speaker low down sound. Exceptional value.
Features
Fitted my cab well, can't ask more of a replacement speaker.
Quality
Solid and seems well made, good weight to it.
Value
I think that this is a bargain. Can't tell teh difference between this and speakers costing twice as much.

I bought this for a bass guitar 2x15, and eventually paired it with another of the same after mixing with a few different Eminence drivers. I was looking for clarity and mid bass, as the other speakers I had were too boomy for my purpose. Two of these did the trick. My bandmates loved them. It's hard to find a 15 that has top end definition to it, but this had my pick attack loads more noticeable than the other speakers I've tried. The G string didn't get lost which was also a huge plus. I was able to set more knobs on my amp and pedals to noon- this speaker gives a more real response. Based on all these characteristics, this is probably a great speaker for guitar as well. The 12" version is fantastic for guitar. If you are looking for big bass this isn't the speaker. It's definitely present, but it is not a bass focused speaker, more of a "punch" or clarity driver. Not to say it can't produce a big bass response- it can, but you'll need to spend more amplifier power on it (turn up the bass knob). The Eminence Legend BP1525 is much better suited for big bass, or the Delta 15LF. This guy would be great for stage monitors, or as a mains speaker in a system with a subwoofer (but not as the sub). However, if you are looking to tame a boomy cab or need a more neutral tone (like an upright player or someone who really likes the tone of their amp or bass) this is far and away the best choice. Tons of power. I use a 700 watt amp and this never breaks a sweat and it's way more than loud enough for my loud band.

"O.K. If that's all you want."

Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I like to play a bit loud, and I want deep bass. This speaker is mediocre at both, compared to my prior 15" Peavy Scorpion Speaker of very similar statistics.
Features
Best to solder to terminals, so this had what I wanted.
Ease of Use
The screw holes seemed to fit a standard size cabinet. Lightweight is the plus with this speaker -- good for a bass player.
Quality
Looks fine parts, just a bit wimpy.
Value
These are a bit cheaply priced, and a decent value, but not for a pro or perfectionist.
Manufacturer Support
N/A
The Wow Factor
Nice and light with a good brand name, but does not deliver sound quality I desire.
