Sound: Not applicable. Feature: The manual for this puppy is HUGE because this is a full featured MIDI controller, endlessly configurable for whatever application you might need it for. Far beyond your usual DAW software, this could conceivably control any piece of MIDI gear ever made. Quality: Very sturdy -- far more sturdy than I anticipated. The build quality is very good. The sliders, knobs, keys, and mod-lever all feel very solid to me. Value: Compare it to other MIDI controllers capable of what the PCR-30 is capable of and you'll quickly see it's definitely one of the least expensive and full-featured in its class. Manufacturer Support: Haven't anything go wrong with it. Edirol's website is very good and the PCR editor software (free) is a sign of their committment to supporting this product. The Wow Factor: It's silver and has some nice curves. The keys feel nice and it feels good to slide the levers up and down. Overall: I wouldn't trade this for any other MIDI interface/keyboard on the market. Roland/Edirol have been making keyboards for years and it shows in the build quality of this unit. If you have a larger 61- or 76- key keyboard as I do, this makes an excellent addition to your setup, something you can plop on the desk and have at hand when you really need it. If you are into computer music and don't have a keyboard, this will suit your needs (provided you don't want to play any Bach Tocattas on it... buy the 61-key version for that ;)

Sound: NA - It's just a controller, no sound. Feature: What an awesome piece of equipment. From note velocity to sliders with a good feel. Quality in this product. I'm AMAZED at the number of features in something for $120. If you hesitate buying this product your just out of your mind. Quality: The buttons, switches and feel is great. The case is run of the mill plastic which I wasnt impressed with but does the job. Display is sharp, color is good and overall im very impressed. Value: For the money I dont see how you could beat it. The Wow Factor: I'm not hip to the silver color. Black would have been a better choice for me. Knobs, sliders, you name it. I use it for hooking into Buzz for controlling midi, mixing, etc. Works great. Overall: Aside from the smaller issues this get's a 10. You couldnt beat the quality, features and functionatily with a stick.

Sound: NA Quality: Works fine for a while and then the keypad goes out on the keyboard. Roland replaced one for me and in a few months it at happens again. I've always disliked Roland for their overly complicated multi menu operating systems, and their- hold this button while pressing that one approach to parameter changes. Now I know. I'll never, ever purchase another Roland, Boss, Edirol product again. Can't stand their stuff-the pits! Manufacturer Support: Good

Feature: everything you need-a sequencer and synth controller with midi ins and outs Quality: solid Value: look around-there are cheaper units from others that I havent tried but this is a great value Overall: Keys are great -some controllers have keys that feel like a kids toy keyboard-not these they feel like a pro board with fast response
