Takes a little while & experimentation to get the hang of selecting the optimum 'balance' between the Mama Bear sound & the original guitar sound, so 9 out of 10. Once you've mastered this however, 10 out of 10. Using it with a Martin D-28 fitted with DTAR Wavelength pickup, Raven Labs PMB-II pre-amp into Ashdown Acoustic Radiator amp & also into P.A. desk

Mama Bear itself is A-OK; However, I just wish the cling-film type reference sheet (which you stick to the top of it) was done in a bigger font so could be read on stage without having to faff around during gigs trying to find my reading glasses...

See 'sound' above; takes a while & a few gigs before you can intuitively zero in on the perfect sound first time every time, but far easier 'analog'-type controls than any of the digital programming effects I've used.

Had to re-boot it a couple of times when it 'froze"(took under a minute), other than that no problems.

Not cheap, but definitely worth it! I was scared of getting 'buyers remorse' after parting with $350 when I ordered this. I needn't have worried, it takes the live guitar sound up to studio quality, which in turn totally has lifted my playing to the next level. Audience jaws drop - even other musicians & sound guys comment every time. A real pleasure to use.
