This pedal is very light on your feet and very easy to control. The adjustments on the pedal are very easy to use. I had been using the DW 5000 pedal for a number of years and I loved it. This pedal is much easier to control with your feet, but it took me a couple of weeks practicing with it before I actually used it on a gig because it is a different feel. The only con is the price, very expensive!!

"Not worth a grand. "

I've been playing drums for 15 years now and having he experience teching for Luke Holland. I have played just about every pedal known. I purchased this pedal with hopes of being all it was shaped up to be. I like the design, the look pretty much sold itself. No doubt it's fully adjustable and absolutely on point with no slack in the slave, and they beater are pretty awesome. But, this pedal has a weakness with getting the weight in the beaters. " that's how I like it" you can't move the beaters back without having a "binding" felling at the beginning of the stroke. If you're a death metal blast beater. And like your beaters an inch away from the head. Sure, go ahead and waste a grand. But there are far more other pedals that can easily play better then this one. My personal preference is the Dw XF9000s or the speed Cobras. Hope this helps, but please understand, it's not worth the money.

"Over priced Pedal would not recommend"

This pedal is way over priced and has no action whatsoever. Compared to my chain driven DW9000 this pedal is pretty lame. I thought I was buying a top of the line pedal from DW but was very disappointed . Yeah sure the pedal looks pretty but thats all this pedal has is looks and no action. Spring and adjustments are lame and this pedal has way less return action then my chain driven DW9000. For a cool grand,,, I sure can find better things to spend that kind of money on!!
