DR Strings MH545 Lo-Rider 5-String Electric Bass Strings (Medium, 45-125)

With a stiffer feel than Hi-Beams strings, DR Lo-Rider bass strings deliver great consistency, depth of tone, and increased accuracy when playing harmonics.

"You need a set of these on your bass."

I've used DR string for several years & have a set of them on 5 out of my 6 basses. This my 1st set of Lo-Riders and I'm very please with their sound,we'll see if they last as long as the H-Beams. They are the best strings I've ever use & turned some guitarist on to DR as well.
Sound
These are great sounding strings.I use to always use the Hi-Beams but did a little research on Lo-Riders & decided to put a set on my 99' Fender active Jazz. It gives the bass a whole new sound, the J-bass growl with these strings is awesome. The low B is tight & deep, even though my Fender is a 34" not 35" like a lot of 5 strings.
Features
I always had great experience with Hi-Beams keeping their sound for long time & and keeping a good feel. Good materials & craftsmanship.
Ease of Use
pretty easy on the fingers
Quality
Good materials & craftsmanship.
Value
You can spend less on strings, but you'll be replacing cheap strings before you know it,they'll sound dead after a few gigs. These last 3 or 4 times longer than most brands I've tried.
Manufacturer Support
never needed them
The Wow Factor
They make your bass stand out in the mix !!
