Any true Dimehead guitarists out there should own the Dean From Hell!!! And if you're a Dimehead with an extra $700 you should own the Dean From Hell and display it on the wall like a work of art...and maybe it'll inspire you to learn to play.
Sound
The sound is a metal monster!! Best sustain of any solid body guitars I've tried. Gives me that Dime chunk metal sound I love but also able to play blues and that Waylon country sound too.
Features
Because of this guitar I've become a lifelong customer of the original Floyd Rose system. I'm amazed how this holds a tune no matter how you abuse the whammy. The strings will snap before this bad boy goes out of tune. The traction knobs are a refreshing feel.
Ease of Use
I had a little learning curve with the solid body neck & ML designs because I've never used either before. But now I'm a huge fan of both.
Quality
I feel like I've gotten a steal on the Dean From Hell
Value
Feel like every penny was well spent
The Wow Factor
It's a work of art and a true iconic replica guitar!!!

The CFH was my first Dean. I've always wanted to buy one, but never pulled the trigger before this one. I'm a huge Pantera/Dime fan, so this seemed fitting to be my first. I plugged this thing in for the first time in to a Mesa Road King combo and was instantly blown away. The clean sounds are intense, and the distortion brings out those trebly highs and the beefy bass that made Dime's sound so recognizable. The volume and tone knobs are great ( I love the traction!) The neck is fast.. super fast, with all the room you need for the higher frets. The Floyd can take a beating and stay in tune, also, which is key if you're going to play any Pantera songs. Many may think the graphic to be cliche, or even too iconic to see someone else play it, but anytime I bring this guitar out, I get comments on it all night long. A definite must have for any Dime fan, or any fan of the classic ML body style.

"amazing with some flaws"

Im not good at writing reviews so here it goes. . . this guitar is incredible in every way, i dont own it but played it recently and i was amazed. the sound this thing gives out is intense. The floyd stayed in tune, and it was surprisingly comfortable sitting and standing. The one thing im not a fan of is the finish on the neck. Im not fond of finished necks. so this was a personal preference. Overall this is a great tribute to an amazing player. RIP Dime.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when purchasing this guitar, but when I plugged it in, tuned it, I was rockin!!! The sound, feel and playability blew me away. I own fourteen other guitars and this is now my favorite. I purchased it with a Dean case which was of course a perfect fit.

I was so looking forward to this guitar, when I got it I was so happy. I tuned it up plugged in to my amp....Then that's where everything went bad. The cheap POTS they used scratched sounded from the first turn, then the buzzing from the amp you could hear it from 5 blocks away then I hit the first note on the first fret and it was dead all the way across the fret board. I wanted to cry. This guitar is cheap and I would not recommend buying.

When I opened the box the guitar looked great.. then I notice the nut was missing two of the three screws and clamps, I found them in the box luckily... THEN I notice two of the springs in the back are not hooked on the tensioner for the tremolo... so I put it all back together, tune it and it plays nice.. the neck needs an adjustment but most guitars do .. and once again I switch it from the neck pickup to the bridge pickup and its real real real quiet.. so i switch it a few more times and the bridge pickup came back to life?? not sure what's going on but I would expect more from a guitar at this price range.. if I didn't know how to set up a guitar this was literally unplayable when it arrived..

The first one ordered was defective, the 3 way switch wouldn't turn on the bridge pickup...so they sent out another one, which was more than I expected ....SAME PROBLEM.. they told me to call DEAN directly.. DEAN said when they buff out the paint the compound gets in the switch and to take the switch out and clean it.which also made me think why is it being buffed out with a switch installed??? I don't think an 800.00 guitar should need fixing out of the box.. The soldering is horrible along with the hardware, as in the pots and the 3 way switch..serious disappointment I have nothing bad to say about zZounds, they have been more than helpful .. I ended up buying the Dean Stealth dime slime made in Korea which is a WAY better quality guitar that sounds better and plays like it should .. I can't believe DIME"S name is on this guitar...
