"Great"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Overall, get this kit. its great, it really impresses people and its just in general a great kit. The only down side of the kit is the pedals.
Sound
Yea, this kit sounds pretty amazing. The snare, oh my gosh! its wonderful got a very nice crack to it, suitable for metal/punk rock music. The bass drums sound fairly good, but it gets annoying trying to tune them to a similar pitch. Keep in mind that two different bass drum pedals vastly change the sound. But yeah, sounds great.
Features
Well i bought this kit second hand for $1200AUD with 7 b8 cymbals and stands + stool. And its done me well, i don't think i could be any happier. I would definatly recommend the sabian B8 cymbals with this kit they go together like peas in a pod.
Ease of Use
This kit is massive, its quite inconvenient to move around. I find it particularly annoying with the hihat stand, because of two bass drums, the hihat stand pedal has to be a fair distance away from your left foot. This kit is too big, it isn't somthing i would be gigging with.
Quality
Yeah, I don't know. Its pretty good, not amazing but not aweful. Although the pedals really need to be replaced.
Value
GREAT GREAT GREAT value for me.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to deal with support

"Great Kit"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I will play this kit until the road takes its toll on it. Giging is hard on equipment at times.
Sound
The sound is deep and rich; however, you will need to replace the heads because the stock heads are cheap.
Ease of Use
Very well built and the setup is great.
Quality
Mine kit arrived with the bass drums wrinkled. I called to have them replaced, but since we were gigging, I had no choice but to keep the set.
Value
Great price for a wonderful kit

"Awesome set for peanuts!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I think I'll keep this kit around for quite a while. Though it's not the greatest thing ever, for what I paid for it, you just can't beat it. It's more of a workhorse kit that you can beat to death and it will take all of it and more. However, I won't be putting it in my sound booth at the studio anytime soon.
Sound
First off, immediately replace the stock heads! I did with evans ebony hydraulics and it helped a TON. However, the kicks are hard to get punch out of. You get more of a thud, no matter how you tune. Overall, the set sounds great, but could be a bit brighter.
Features
The hardware is pretty flimsy. You'll notice small hex nuts kinda flying everywhere when you start pounding. Make sure everything is good and tight before you try and play this kit. Also, it's somewhat difficult to position the toms as there is no kick drum mounts, only the stands, for the toms. However, the floating ring design for the mounted toms gives you a pretty good angle range. Personally, I couldn't find a good spot that made it comfortable for me to play the mounted toms - but I'm 6'4..lol. May be easier for shorter folks - not sure.
Ease of Use
You can pretty much pull these out of the box and go at it if sound isn't all that important. If you're looking for a great set, cheap, then this is definitely the set for you.
Quality
I wouldn't say they are cheaply made - but they are cheaply made. Again, I think this is more of a beginners kit. If you're a 15 - 21 year old that just jams then you'll love this kit. If you're a pro (15+ years for me) then the quality of the wood and hardware is going to disappoint you.
Value
There is no way you'll get a set of this quality from any other manufacturer for this price.
Manufacturer Support
I'll give a 10 because I haven't had to call them, but have heard nothing but great things about their support.
The Wow Factor
Now, the biggest thing about this set is "sex appeal". It just looks amazing - especially when you wrap cymbals around it. It's almost like a lambo - it just looks fast sitting still.

"Nice sounding and looking kit, shame about the shonky hardware."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Probably upgrade next year when I'll be recording more, etc.
Sound
The stock heads are pretty cheap, I replaced them with Evans Genera G2 Coateds, they sound perfect for metal with a set of rings on those skins. If you throw a pillow in the bass drums against the batter skin and put Evans EMAD skina on the basses they sound - AMAZING -
Features
The on-the-bass drum tom setup looks terrible. I have my toms floated coming off actual stands (all four toms) and they sound better like that as well. I'm only using one bass at the moment and with the stand there in it it's awesome, I'm using that stand for my ride and china.
Ease of Use
Very customizable. There's so many different configurations and its so easy to put them into that configuration. Very playable, because of the beauty of it you can play it all day.
Quality
The lacquer has obvious lines where it starts/ends on the drum, and the bass drum lacquer wrinkles when exposed to close up strobe lights, etc. Also the toms can wear away at the lacquer if they are touching.
Value
I'd rather have bought a Tama 5 piece, just for the solid quality.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed to. If anything on this kit breaks, it's easy to fix.
The Wow Factor
Very sexy drum kit when it's set up right. It looks terrible in that photo compared to when its done properly. The stock pedals look pretty lame though.

"The greatest drum set!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is again the best drum set I have ever used. I would recommend it to people who like fast rock or metal, especialy slipknot.
Sound
This drumset is the best I used! With it i can play like joey jordison!
Ease of Use
This is somewhat difficult because it just has so many pieces. But I like drumsets with lots of pieces!
Quality
Every thing was perfect! Nothing was bad about it. It will last for about 7-9 years.
Value
Wow, I have seen 5 peice drum sets worth more than this. Great price.
Manufacturer Support
Yes, great customer support. Always understanding what i said.

"Great sounding drums for the price but very bad hardware."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
So once again (for the price) the drums and mounts are great, but don't bother with the other hardware. I would give the drums a 10 (once again for the price and I've been playing for 20 years) but I have to give an 8 for wasting my time with the crappy hardware. I now own 4 kits. A tama, a premier, a DW, and this ddrum diablo death punx. As you can see I have plenty to put it up against and it truly stands up.
Sound
For being kinda crappy wood they sound really nice once you change all the heads (and I mean ALL!) I'm a sound guy of 10 years (drummer of 20) and the drummer for Thor is on stage using mine right now. The kit has new heads and great mics on it. I could not be more pleased with the sound. Awsome attack, full lows, right amount of overtone. Beautiful! PS. I'm not some hack fighing with a piece of crap "Mackie" board. I work on pro consoles with 40+ channels and have years of house and touring experience.
Features
The drums and mounts are nice but the hardware sucks. The pedals are cheap with really weak beaters and springs. Already had a spring break and a beater shaft bend.
Ease of Use
Like I said before. NEW HEADS! If you do that they tune up really nice, and once again don't bother with the hardware.
Quality
etc...
Value
Even though I have plenty to say about the hardware the drums are well worth it. They should either leave the hardware out or improve it.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't called but I hear they're right on it.
The Wow Factor
I've been wanting one since the first it.

"Over all a great set"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
A great set, but eventually I will replace it with another set. I reccomend beginner to middle drummers.
Sound
I love the shells. The drumheads that came with the set I replaced with EVANS EC2 edge control and they sound AMAZING.
Features
The hardware is a bit shaky but they do the job for a while. My ride cymbal stand broke a couple months in, but overall good quality. I would suggest a rack system instead of the on-the-bassdrum setup.
Ease of Use
The hardware is a bit strange but it does well.
Quality
The shells are great, the hardware is ok but not the best set in the world.
Value
Can't find a better double bass + 4 tom + snare setup anywhere else
Manufacturer Support
I have never needed service for this drumset, which is a definite plus.
The Wow Factor
Its a good looking set, I love the black on black hardware.
