I have 17 electric guitars , many with their original cases and I have to say when it comes to protecting guitars worth a few thousand dollars SKB Has what you need and I feel very confident in their craft .
Sound
Very quiet when opening and closing .
Features
I very much like the 5 trigger latches , the arched lid , the extruded aluminum closure and the very plush interior combined with the hard shell case makes this on a winner .
Ease of Use
especially the latches .
Quality
I'm proud to say this one was made in the USA and the quality is state of the art in instrument protection .
Value
This case would sell like hot cakes at $99.00 but I gave the extra 20 knowing SKBs reputation .
Manufacturer Support
I give the the bebefit of the doubt , as I have many SKS cases , many of which are protecting my pro sound equiptment and they all are holding up very well and I have never had to call SKB regarding any problems over the last 8 years .
The Wow Factor
I have two of these case which I bought separately over time to protect a PRS singlecut and an 1977 Ibanez Artist AR-300 . After seeing the first one and knowing the Ibanez would fit in one , well it was a no brainer . I wanted another .

I think its the best case on the market and the price is fantastic. I only had one problem I broke tthe handle. I wander if I can get a replacement. It was totaly my fault it broke it wore out at the pivot pont and then it broke of there. I have fixed it but would like to get a new one because my fix you can sure see it but it worked. I found a piece of plastic thin and bent it around and used to very small screws and thats it

I received this out of the Mississippi Warehouse. It was dinged in several placed along the seam that connects both sides. The bottom had a gap just shy of 1/4 inches and even with the 5 latches closed the gap was there. It only has 2 hinges! major stupid idea. This is for a wide guitar Duh. Three hinges please

"Great product...outstanding service from Zzounds"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
All my other guitars have original cases in good condition, so no need of another case, for some time, is anticipated
Features
SKB case for a Gibso Les Paul...fits perfectly. Zounds service was terrific, right product, undamaged condition and received promptly. I couldn't ask more from anyone.
Quality
SKB makes fine cases, fit and protection are fine. The new hinges seem beefier and willl nor inadvertantly scratch the guitar.
Value
No complaints whatsoever.
