I purchased this after buying the bowery and loving it. I don't think I can rate this thing high enough honestly. Every aspect of this guitar is amazing. The most important things of any guitar are the sound and the playability and this one is perfect (for my ears) and for the playability. Amazing appearance is just incredible. As soon as I pull it out of the case every person that has ever seen it immediately says "WOW" But when they play it they are blown away by it. I have 32 guitars. Including a Martin, a Taylor, Takamine 6 and 12 strings, and my brother has much the same lineup and even he was impressed. I will buy even more from D'Angelico. I LOVE THEM!!!!

I was going to purchase a Gibson Hummingbird Pro, but took a chance by purchasing the SD400 Brooklyn Dreadnought instead and OMG. I just saved about $1800 dollars and got a better quality, better sounding, better looking guitar. This SD400 sounds better, plays better than my Gibson Delux Songwriter, which cost $2500. I would highly recommend the D'Angelico Acoustic Electric guitars. The Grover Rotomatic tuners are amazing, it's like spreading butter. Only thing I might change are the string, I might go with some Lights, but that's just a personal preference.

Musical Background:

I've been playing guitar for 5 years, have a collection of 40 guitars and this SD400 is one of the best!

Musical Style:

I play a variety of music, everything from country, blues, pop, folk etc.
