This is a sturdy and reasonable portable music stand, so far (one month in) worth the money. There was a slight dent in the corner of the desk - the packing from the manufacturer was terrible. But trading a little portability for a lot more sturdiness makes this a good deal to me.

"Can't play your best if you can't see the music."

I would expect to be satisfied for quite a while. The product supports sheet music very well and that of course makes it a bit easier to follow the notes than if the music were falling to the floor. I purchased 10 to be able to leave one in all the places where I perform so I do not have to include it in the gear I carry about, and I suppose if someone did rip one off I would purchase an replacement. I like it's compact size and the ability to tighten the support. I suppose it would be more convenient in some situations to have a heavier base, especially since I have enough that I do not need to carry them around.
Sound
It is absolutely quiet. The moving parts seem to be powder coated so that they do not squeak as the platform is raised or lowered or the angle change. I primarily use sheet music in binders on the product and indeed the snapping of the binder rings is probably the most annoying thing that happend, but I do not think that is an issue with the product itself.
Features
The ability to tighten the grip on the stand allows it to hold heavier music binders than the usual slip grip type stands.
Ease of Use
As I mentioned in the first query, it is absolutely quiet which I find very important in a music stand.
Quality
Have not had a lot of hard use on the product yet, but it seems well made.
Value
The selling price was a key factor in ordering this product. Based upon my research this unit is at least $10 less than the nearest comparable one.
Manufacturer Support
Pretty neutral here, I have not had to call for support, and I doubt that I would need to. The operation of the device is pretty straight forward.
The Wow Factor
Not sure "lust" is a term I would use for a music stand. It is quite functional, it is basic black. I like it, but having purchased 10 of them I am not sure that I would lust for more. I am getting older and 10 is probably all I can handle.
