First off, I thought it would be smaller. It's about the same size as my old Raven RG100 combo amp. This is my first all valve amp and I'm impressed. From the stitched leather handle all the way down to the MDF used. The amp makes me impressed with the way it sounds and over all quality products used. The nobs are smooth on operation, the switches for power and standby are right on rugged. It does have the Celestion Type A speaker and Not so fond of RUBY tubes. The sound on the amp in crisp and clean and if you want dirt go outside, because it has a lot. But over all Blackstar out did themselves with this amp. My Vox VT20X has nothing on this amp. My VOX sounds muddy even with a valve and speaker changed.

Musical Background:

7 years playing, and I'll just jam at home for now.
