"Behringer UFX1204 is excellent"

Long time Behringer fan (but I also own other manufacturers like QSC, Yamaha, Hartke, and Mackie).I'm a huge Zoom R16 fan even to the point of using it as my main mixer for duos and trios mainly because it would record 8 tracks simultaneously. We record every live performance religiously because it really shows us what we need to improve on and what is already working and sounding great. So when looking for a new mixer, it had to have at least 8 tracks simultaneous recording.I found a warehouse resealed UFX 1204 on zZounds and simply couldn't pass it up.The preamps are good. Effects are good. EQ works fine. But the real power here is hooking up a simple, inexpensive USB3 thumb drive (like a Sandisk Ultra 16, 32, or 64 from Costco) and having the UFX 1204 record ALL tracks as well as the Main Mix. Pure gold! I *did* find out that not all USB thumb drives are the same, speed-wise, and the cheaper ones ended up with drop-outs in the .wav files. But once I picked up some inexpensive 32Gb USB3 thumb drives, I was in fat-city.The UFX 1204 will run a test on the thumb drive and if it's not fast enough it will drop down to 16-bit .wav's (whereas for fast thumb drives, the UFX will record 24-bit .wav's).The mixer is very easy to use, well laid out, and comes with the typical good Behringer quality that I've experienced in my particular part of the world.Plenty of headroom.I like it so much that if I see another blem/reseal, I'll probably grab it as a backup.By the by, I *also* have the QSC Touchmix 16 and while it's a great mixer as well, the UFX 1204 is quite a bit easier to use and a tad more intuitive. Nothing against the Touchmix, just trying to help a beginner maybe realize that the UFX might be easier to use since everything is sitting right there (knobs, sliders, etc.) whereas on the Touchmix you have to switch screens a lot.Anyway...great little mixer, will probably pick up another one for backup.

"Broke in Less Than a Year"

Purchased on 1/08/2020. Mixer never moved from area it was placed. Woke up one morning, turned it on and within 20mins, the first lane started producing static unrelated to anything connected to it. So, the first lane is now broken and producing tons of static with no water damage, electrictical damage, or physically damage. It just broke. The lane wasn't even in use. I will NEVER buy a Behringer mixer again as this is my second mixer from them where a lane failed within a year of purchase. Terrible product quality.
