"Great amp."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I have a feeling I'll be using this for a long time. With the MIDI and the effects, it'll always be a good studio amp, and it's more than loud enough for a gig.
Sound
This amp has great sound, the effects are great quality, but the distortion isn't that heavy.
Features
Tons of effects, aux. in, midi, lots of great features
Quality
Only complaint is the delay between switching channels (a second or so).
Value
This is a great value, for the price you can't go wrong with all the features.
The Wow Factor
It looks great (great as a box with a speaker inside can look) and the sound drew me in.

"It's better with a different speaker"

Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)

I have bought at least 6 Behringer products for home studio over the past 18 months or so, and this is the first one to give me any trouble. I sort of buy Behringer with a feeling that it is a disposable product, basically. "Made in China" pretty much says more than I can tell you.
Sound
This amp sounded terrible UNTIL.....I blew the cheesy "75 watt" Jensen speaker by cranking it up LOUD only ONCE! I then got creative and grafted the Behringer electronics into a '78 Rickenbaker twin amp cabinet with 2 original 12" speakers, and suddenly it sounds like everything Behringer claimed it would be. Moral of story? The Jensen speaker bites. It sounds bad from the gitgo. Now, I am hearing the "virtube" sound that they claimed I would, so I'm actually happier with it now, having replaced the speaker[s] (and the cabinet in my case).
Features
Excellent arrray of features and patching options. Why didn't they include a speaker out jack, though, I wonder. Also, I could do without all the "virtube" hype. I don't want a tube amp.
Quality
When I saw inside, I got a look at the "microelectronics." Looks pretty cheesy, but that's what you expect to get with this company anyway. I don't like that fact that the knobs are not fastened to the face in the normal fashion. They just poke thru the face and rely entirely on the board for support. Treat this unit gently!
Value
What you get for $150 beats anything else on the market. Just, like I said, treat it gently and DON'T play it too loud unless you want to be forking out dough for a better 12" speaker!
Manufacturer Support
I can't even find a number for support in the US! I hear they are terrible about warranties also, and I'm past the limit anyway, so I didn't even try. Went with the grafting project. I picked 5 because I can't really answer this question.
The Wow Factor
I liked the art deco curvature on the cabinet.

OVERALL I THINK ITS WORTH THE MONEY BUT LIKE I SAID DONT EXPECT A LOT OF SOUND BELIEVE ME IF YOU WANT A PRODUCT FOR THE TONE! GET THE MARSHALL FX LINE; COST MORE BUT HEY WHY PAY HALF FOR A PRODUCT THAT WANT SUIT U?
Sound
THE SOUND IS REALLY NOT WHAT I EXPECTED IT TO BE! I WAS BUYING THIS FOR REALLY MORE "VOLUME" YOU THINK THINK 60 WATTS DOES THE JOB WELL NOT EXACTLY... IT HAS SOME OVERALL GOOD FEATURES LIKE DELAY, AND EVERYTHING. BUT I REALLY DONT SEE THE POINT OF HAVING "HEAVEN" MODE ANYWAY ALL IT DOES IS KILL THE TONE OF YOUR PEDAL AND GUITAR I HAVE TO TURN THAT DOWN AND AND TURN THE MASTER ALL THE WAY UP TO HEAR ABOUT 25 WATTS OF SOUND. BUT TURN THE HEAVEN UP U STILL GET A GOOD SOUND. THE HELL MODE REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE THE AMP REALLY CANT HANDEL ALL THE GAIN AND BASS AT THE SAME TIME.
Features
IT HAS SOME COOL FEATURES AND EVERTHING FOR THE MONEY BUT DONT LOOK FOR USING THIS BABY FOR GIGING BECAUSE I DONT THINK ITS UP TO IT IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
Quality
ITS BUILT PRETTY GOOD AND WEIGHS A TON BUT AINT THAT BAD.
Value
WORTH THE MONEY AND MAYBE THEN SOME.
Manufacturer Support
I WOULD LIKE TO CONTACT THEM BUT DONT WANT TO SPEND 2.00 A MINUTE FOR THE SUPPORT LOL.
The Wow Factor

"NOT BUILT TO LAST. MADE IN CHINA. SAVE YOUR MONEY."

Overall: 1.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
It sounded pretty good when I first bought it but the amp was just made too cheaply and is not built to last. I'll take quality over quantity any day.
Sound
The distortion is very weak. The clean channel is quite decent. I replaced the Jensen speaker with a Vintage 30 and that helped alot. Had to run a effects pedal for distortion and a tube preamp to get the thick sounds I wanted. Just too much hassle for good tone. The volume was fairly loud but the amp crapped out on me after a couple of months. Started hearing hum when not playing, then when I turned the volume up past halfway it started farting out. BEHRINGER ENGINEERED IN GERMANY, MADE IN CHINA! I think that pretty much says it all.
Features
Has alot of features including digital effects which I did not care to use.
Quality
I had to take this particular amp back to the dealer twice. The first one went up in smoke during normal use after a couple of weeks. They gave me another one. The second one went back last week because it started humming and the bass farted out with the volume past 12 oclock and the bass eq knob was almost at zero. MADE IN CHINA. Yes, it is a cheap amp so in this case you do get what you pay for. The warranty is only for a year so they know their product is not going to stand the test of time or volume. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS AMP, IT WILL NOT LAST.
Value
I wouldn't buy this amp for $15 brand new.
Manufacturer Support
Customer support was actually very good and quick via email.
The Wow Factor
It looks good. But that's about it.

"BEHRINGER BLUE DEVIL.Not good enough to be the best."

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'm going to sell it and buy a line6 spider II 50w..
Sound
The sound of this product could've been MUCH better.... It's missing just the little part to be a good amp. I think that the sound in a roland cube 30 is 10 times better!
Features
The 99 effects are not the best. especially the wah and flange sucks... My favourite is delay..
Quality
This is made very well!! But it's just TOO HEAVY! you get exhausted of carrying 22kg in long distances... But it's built to be sturdy.
Value
Yup... it's cheap enough because it ain't the "first class".
The Wow Factor
It looks quite sexy... but it should've been black....

Sound
its very meaty at some points, and you can get a pure acoustic sound, the reverb is awsoeme, When you put all of the effects together you get one big digital masterpiece. Again it isn't this godly little piece of machinary that deserves a 10 but it does the job and more, its definitely all that and a bag of potato chips!
