"VERY Noisy background, not worth the money. Save for a decent microphone"

My voice carries nicely with this microphone. Unfortunately, the sound of the voice is muffled by the shhh'ing of the background. There is a constant noise is the background, which really deters from the video quality. I wanted to avoid spending $150 on a microphone, but it seems that is what i will have to do. Honestly, even though it is cheap, save your money. Even putting decently loud background music over the video, if you want voice audio (pretty obvious you would since you are using a microphone) you can still hear the static in the background. So basically, the only way to avoid this is to turn off the sound. Pretty useless. The sound in my DSLR is 100x better sounding than the lavalier mic.
