Best Single ply heads on the market for the price. Bozzio endorses these heads! Crisp response. They needed retuning only once after initial mounting. The bass head has the extra sound ring. I use Attack Bozzio signature on all my other brass and wood snares. I bought this 5-pack for a 5 piece Tama set with chrome snare, that I play in the Church. The set came alive. I often need sound rings to dim the volume on certain songs. They are loud and responsive heads. 40 years ago Remo was the most popular. I stick with Attack and Aquarian for my Acoustic & Electronic sets.

great product,i used the 13" & 16" as reso tom heads.the bass drum batter head is great in combination with a no hole reso head.i have no blankets or any other muffling in the bass drum,and it sounds great

You can't go wrong. Even just one ply, they are thick! Great response even with the kick barely tight. The snare, coated, is great as well as all other of the clear heads. Can't go wrong, don't pay more.

These should last 20+ years as res heads.
Sound
I own and restore vintage Japanese drums from the 60s and early 70s. I use these heads for resonant heads and they work fantastically for this purpose. I tried them up top and they just did not suit the shells very well. As resos, they do an admirable job and tune to varying degrees. Resonant heads tend to be less important to the overall sound than do batters, and these do the job as well as the clear Ludwig or Remo heads for less than half the cost.
Value
The best value for the buck, if you like loud, bright heads, but as far as that goes, I use them for reso heads.
