After maybe 40 guitars I've owned, now I'm in love. This Alvarez is amazing. Each Alvarez guitar is a bargain, and the six I've owned we're all nice players, but the AD90 is several notches above. It sings like guitars I've played which sell at multiples of the AD90 price. This is a keeper.

"finally, I found a great acoustic for a small price"

I saw it advertised as a restock for $275, and jumped at it. The sound is almost magical, due to the acai koa - so rich, with actual depths you can hear as a player, and even more as a listener in front of one. I cant find one single thing wrong with it. It stays in tune wonderfully, even after aggressive playing. Wehn you pick up a Martin that costs 2 grand or more, YOU UNDERSTAND WHY WHEN YOU LAY JUST ONE CHORD. This guitar almost reaches that obscene level. When your acoustic is this kind of quality, you find yourself playing it longer, and more often. I think they call that enjoyment, yet it also seems to be creatively pushing you to find the right notes.. After trying EVERY acoustic in stores that cost less than $500, this is the only one that leaps to the top, and i paid much less than that. Once in a while, this disabled veteran gets a great deal.
