Feature:
Came with an easy manual that explained all applications. Also printed were a few techniques one could use in one's AKGD112 recording. I wish there was a better mount for the microphone.

Quality:
It is put together fine, the only thing i do not like is the shark "shark nosed" grill and frame. It makes it a little difficult to get the perfect distance on the kick's skin.

Value:
THE PRICE IS AMAZING!

Desirability:
I am completely obsessed with the product. I have been using it for quite some time and, believe me, we have our intimate moments.

Sound:
It is the best sounding kick drum mic I have used. It has more application than other names such as the EV868 or the ATM25. People have told me that the acoustical design of my studio is what makes this mic so good, but my room is nothing special! The AKGD112 IS!

Overall:
Until my clients demand a different kick sound than what you would hear on any professional recording, I will be satisfied with this product and its wide range of applications.

Feature:
Nice addition of a low cut and a output atten. is clever.

Quality:
AKG insists that this is an entry level mic. I use this mic alongside a U87, a c12 and many other beautiful mics. It sounds good. Bottom line.

Sound:
Very real, present mic. Excellent response at any freq. So close to the 414 it's pretty funny. AKG talks this mic down because its cheap. THey want you to buy a 414. This mic sounds great on guitars, vox and anything else.
