I have wanted to own a Warwick bass since my early teens (in my late 20s now) after playing a Warwick $$ at a big chain music store. After admitting to myself that a German made model wasn’t feasible at this point in my life I looked at the Rockbass line and heard very positive reviews from others about the more recent Rockbass models. I knew that I wanted to get back to playing on a four string bass. The corvette body shape is unique but very well balanced when sitting or using a strap. Where I was blown away was with the neck and the electronics on this bass. Upon arrival it did need a significant set up at the truss rod was too tight causing there to be major fret buzz. After fixing the truss rod and adjusting the action the bass played and felt amazing! The electronics are very versatile, you can literally get almost any tone you would want from a conventional bass. Warwick basses have that midrange growl that cannot he mimicked by other basses and that holds true for their Rockbass line as well. Everything feels solid on this bass from the tuning keys all the way down to the two piece bridge (which is another aspects of this bass which makes it a dream to play for long period of time). The adjustable nut and the 3D bridge make setting up a Warwick bass easy. Don’t hesitate a second longer. Take the plung and buy one today!
