Washburn originally introduced the Lakeside Jumbo model in 1912 and it is considered the first dreadnought sized guitar. It bridged the gap between smaller bodied parlor guitars of the late 19th and early 20th century and modern day dreadnought and jumbo acoustic guitars. 100 years later we have captured the essence of that model with modern materials to provide a truly inspired, unique and special instrument with its own voice.

Has Terrible tone, very little projection and presence. I JUST bought this to have a bang around guitar to write music on, and save my good guitars, but, Is not even good enough for that. And, is no larger than a Dreadnaught. is NOT a jumbo, except in Washburn's mind. Terrible description. Tried new ClearTone strings, NO help.. Strings are WAY too high, Either needs a LOT of setup work, which means money someone should NOT have to spend, OR, it won't go lower due to buzzing.

Musical Background:

Been playing professionally for over 45 Years, most, here in Vegas

Musical Style:

Finger Picker, Have played lead, and backup in 2 major bands, only 1 album, but, it's better than nothing. Play ANYTHING, acous
