The Tremster has been designed to sound like a vintage tube amp tremolo. Unlike many other tremolos that utilize opto-electronic designs, the Tremster uses a light-dependent resistor (LDR) to achieve it's deep, buttery, seductive tone. A flashing LED displays the selected speed setting, and allows a wide range of control from very slow to head-spinning fury. When the mode button is in the "normal" position, the Tremster has an aggresive/more sine wave type effect on the signal, coming down 100% in volume. When the mode button is depressed, the Tremster has a less aggresive/more square wave type effect on the signal, coming down only 80% in volume. The actual volume control itself is unity gain in the 12 o'clock position and provides up to 3 dB boost (and more "bite") in the maximum position.
