Because beginners shouldn’t have to hide from the major players, the 9-layer basswood shell of the Sonor Force 507 sets offers the needed punch to keep the beginning drummer from falling by the musical wayside.

Sonor Force 507 Shell Design
The basswood shells deliver maximum strength, perfect curving, and neutral tuning thanks to tension-free cross-lamination of the individual layers of wood (CLTF Cross Laminated Tension Free Process). The covered finish is very sturdy and long lasting, and the workmanship is impeccable.

9 layers for bass drums, tom toms, floor toms and snare drums are 7 mm thick.

Tuning Lugs with TuneSafe
The new Sonor Force tuning lugs are equipped with the TuneSafe tuning safeguard feature, which prevents tension screws from loosening. And particularly for the beginner, this means: it keeps the ‘mood’ even longer.

Short Tom Sizes
The new Sonor Force 507 tom toms with ‘short’ shells generate a controlled pitch and can be positioned lower and easier-to-reach in a ‘beginner’s’ set. A quicker way to join the world of drumming.

Double Tom Holder
With the tried-and-tested ‘Ball Clamp’ system, the tom toms can be securely positioned wherever the drummer wishes.

Bass Drum Legs
The bass drum legs can be turned to convert them from rubber to metal, and adjusted using a fastening screw.

"A must for the drummers tired of starter kits"

Sound: Lets see, the bass drum and toms both really surprised me. I payed around $400 for this and expected the kind of crap my friends had got from their first kit. However once tuned up properly they sound dam good for the price (there almost as good as my Pearl Export). The bass is perfect for Metal and cuts through the rest of the kit well and the toms are deep in tonality (something that kits of this range never have). The snare is what lets this kit down. Its only half a notch up from the crappy snares you get from the "begginer"Â§ kits so that takes it down to 7 here. Feature: Your Standard drum kit. Hardware is pretty decent. Hi hats stand is cheap though. Ease of Use: As easy as you make it. I can position everything where I want it (bar the legs of the hi hats stand which don't move so isn't a friend of my double kick pedal) Quality: I bought this as a cheap practice kit as my live kit is never in my house and I'm quite pleased with it. Everything is sturdy and it takes the beatings I throw at it. Seems like it will last. Value: This seems to be the best "beginners" drum kit out there. Everything bar the snare sounds like it costs at least half as much more. My old college had a force 2005 or 3005 (cant remember which one) and this beats every piece bar the snare hands down (however I'm sure my the colleges kit didnt have the time spent tunning to perfection). Overall: I would never rate this as a beginners kit. Its just on a higher level than that. I'd recommend this drum kit to anyone who is serious about drumming, hasn't got alot of cash, but wants something that sounds good. This kit will sound can sound really quite good as long as your willing to tune it and buy a new snare.

"Sonor Drum Kit"

Sound: Amazing sound quality, the Tom Toms and Bass drum nead a little tuning but when thats done it hardly ever goes out of tune. The Volume is Immense, and was so loud that i had to buy some mutes so that my neighbours wouldn't complain. Feature: Didn't include any accesories really, but I bought it off a personal trader and he gave me a drum thone, Sticks and tuned it for me for free. He also assembled it. Ease of Use: Very easy to use and move about, aint very compact but it doesn't need to be really. Quality: Very good quality for the price, it has lasted my friend a good few years. Value: Good but doen't really come with anything you need e.g. Sticks, Stool. If you want to buy this product, get a deal with it. Overall: Brill, definately a Good buy and worth the money. Umm...well thats about it!
