"Don't buy this--its not worth the money--and all the same features are included in the Complete Orchestra."

Feature:
Every feature is also on the complete orchestra expansion board (wich I have also)

Quality:
I guess it's well made--I've not had any trouble.

Value:
Nothing to compare it to...but it is way overpriced--all it is is about a gig of ram--very cheap from the right source--its the copyright on the sounds that drives the price sky-high.

Desirability:
It needs some lace or something...maybe some tassles swinging in opposite directions...

Sound:
I used this with the Roland Fantom X every Sunday at church...I used the strings expansion pack in a musical for a solo violin line--people were asking who the violinist was, and where where they, because they couldn't see one. I also play string reduction with our orchestra--I still use the string sound off a much older Roland keyboard because the overall ensemble sound is better.

Ease of Use:
Manual is useless, the use of this is dependent on your profeincy with the Roland Fantom X--by far the most difficult keyboard I have ever played--everything is very hard to controll--it needs a mouse. I am an organist by trade--keyboards come natural to me--the Roland is horrible! Great sound--but too hard to use for its own good.

Support:
I personally know the regional dealer/technical person. He is a great person that will do his best to resolve your problem, or order any hard to find Roland items.

Overall:
I currently supplement it with another Roland keyboard--an soon a Viscount Cantorum VI portatif organ (portable digital pipe-less organ--not the nasty Hammond-type, but the Glorious Bach-type)

Roland SRX04 Board Customer Review

Sound:
You would be far better of buying the Complete Orchestra Expansion card. This card has nothing on card. The patches are all very similar and there is nothing there that Complete Orchestra doesn't have. Patches are all very good but Complete Orchestra have exact same patches among a ton of others.
