Instantaneously record, play back, and dub multiple instruments onto two stereo loops -- or use Ninja mode to send your loops to separate rigs.

The Pigtronix Infinity is the world's most musical looping pedal. Simple to operate, yet tremendously powerful and flexible, the Infinity Looper from Pigtronix sets a world standard for latency-free looping. The state-of-the-art looping platform provides instantaneous record, playback, dub, undo and redo, on two stereo loop pairs that can be configured in several ways. On top of superior speed and a unique, performance friendly feature set, Infinity Looper sounds downright incredible thanks to its discreet analog limiter stages, transparent analog pass-through and 24bit / 48kHz HD recording engine.

Infinity's innovative "sync multi" mode provides a multiplier function allowing the length of Loop 2 to be 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 times the length of Loop 1. The two loops can also be run out of sync or even in series, for verse / chorus song structures. Ninja style input split mode assigns Input 1 to Loop 1 and Input 2 to Loop 2, effectively allowing performers to record and overdub separate instruments on separate loops, into isolated amps simultaneously.

The Pigtronix Infinity also provides a long awaited aux loop output intended to send looped audio to stage monitors. This is especially helpful for drummers to hear and stay in time. An expression pedal jack for Loop Volume allows hands free control of the overall audio output. They thought of everything and kept only the F.A.T.

Midi input for beat clock sync causes loop start and stop points to obey Pro Tools or any other DAW / Sequencer read more that outputs Midi. The Infinity's USB access allows you to and transfer your music to a computer at full 24bit, 48kHz resolution for further mixing, mastering or immediate publication. They have also implemented audio upload with automatic format conversion, allowing you to upload virtually any digital audio file onto the Infinity Looper.

The must have Pigtronix for any musician. The Infinity Looper will inspire compositional depth and engaging performances; it is the ultimate practice and performance tool for every style of music.

I own two versions of Ditto Loopers and used them in both studio and gigs until this one came along. So many great features. As a live acoustic solo performer, this looper puts me over an edge I had been wanting to achieve for a long time. Pros: A real plus is being able to set this is a series mode, which provides a way to loop both verses and choruses to retain the fullness and complexity of each song. Parallel is also an available setting. I use my own momentary switch for the undo feature which really adds a lot of dynamics to my material. I would have purchased the Pigtronix remote switch for this, but I wanted less footprint. Either will work great! Being able to record and store 9 full song loops is over the top. Most songs use live on the spot, but I have these available as my "knock em dead" songs. The unit is very, very solid and heavy. Not a lot of plastic on this baby. Many, many options I do not use, but it's there if I ever want , including the midi capability for synching with the likes of Beat Buddy, etc. The bypass is perfectly clean. I can't applaud it enough. Nice Note of Pigronix Support: I wanted to add a larger memory card to the unit, but it was new. Warranty states that breaking the seal voids the warranty. I contacted Pigtronix who sent me in writing that breaking the seal to install a new card would not void the warranty in any way. Very polite and helpful service when I contacted them. Cons: The major read more gripe I have is that when dialing in a pre-recorded loop, say number 6) and perform the song, MANY times when dialing back to zero for regular looping, your original settings for series etc are gone. It does not go back to where you had it. Fortunately, I have a Bose T1 Tonematch Engine Mixer with a very accessible mute touch and I can touch mute/reach down, unplug and replug to get back into my original settings. But a pain I shouldn't have to deal with. If left on for over 20 minutes or so, it will also play loops you had recorded before instead of your newer ones.......meaning unplug/replug again. Only other con is every rare now and then you'll step the loop switch and a terrible loud constant rattle hum occurs.....it's as bad as a bass howl feedback. Mute switch again, plug/replug. sigh BUT, even with those couple of downsides, I find that the many settings, clean, pure sounds, series looping and storage make this worth the hefty price tag. Granted, I LOVE TC Helicon products and when they produce a looper that has the same features I need, I will definitely have one. But till then, this is a great, great solid product and I can imagine that for an electric player it would be a real dream machine.

Sound
Perfect Clean Bypass is a definite plus! What goes in is exactly what comes out.

Features
Series looping option for creating both verse and chorus looping. Big Plus! Separate volume controls for each channel of looping. Store up to 9 full loops, plus many other features I likely will never use. Undo feature accessible with ANY momentary footswitch or the optional Pigtronix Remote Switch.

Ease of Use
Get it set the way you want once, determine your volume needs, start looping. It only gets in any way complicated when you start using midi and variable features.

Quality
Solid as a rock. No plastic other than the knobs which are also very solid. Very well made for load in/load out and travel. (I bought a special soft padded case for it)

Value
It's a tad pricey.........and if it didn't have the few glitches I mentioned would be worth every penny, but that said, since nothing else on the market yet offers the features I needed this one has.......makes it worth the investment.

Manufacturer Support
Definitely! Wanting to install a larger memory card, I feared breaking the seal would void the warranty (as the warranty states in writing). I contacted them and very friendly and helpful service assured me that installing a larger card would NOT void the warranty and sent me that statement in writing. Can't beat that!

The Wow Factor
The look on my audience faces when my acousic guitar turns into very complex and clean fingerstyle guitar tells it all. Jaws drop and "how the heck is he doing that?" makes it pretty darned "Wow" I even blow my own mind with it sometimes. It's like having another guitarist with me at every gig!
