The Peavey ValveKing Half Stack offers rock attitude and great tone for a great deal. With 100 watts through a 4x12, this ValveKing Half Stack rocks.

The Peavey ValveKing Series is an all-tube guitar amp line combining boutique features and hot-rodded tones with legendary Peavey reliability.

Peavey ValveKing amps feature a patent-pending, variable Class A-A/B control called Texture, which allows sweepable selection between Class A and Class A/B power structures, as well as any combination of the two. With this feature, guitarists can coax virtually any tone from this tweaked-out amplifier. The amp's preamp and power sections use 12AX7 and 6L6GC tubes, respectively.

Additional standard features include two footswitchable channels with independent, three-band EQ and volume, plus a footswitchable gain/volume boost on the lead channel to provide extra volume for solos. ValveKing amps also feature global resonance, presence and reverb controls, a buffered effects loop and dual speaker jacks in parallel (head and 212 only).

Sound
This amp is AWESOME, iv played probably between 10-20 shows with it and i love it. I have friends who play mesa, marshall, krank and all those "quality brand" amps that you pay out the ass for. And i honestly would pick the ValveKing over most of them. Even recording in the studio i brought it and the guy recording us was sooo suprised with the Valveking head. We used a ENGL head along with mine for rythm and lead, and pluged them into a mesa cab and the valveking basically sounded and performed just as good as the other head (wich cost about $1000 more). These amps sound amazing if you take a noise suppressor and run it through the effects loop, it cranks out such sick tone and these amps are LOUD, at gigs the sound guy usually tells me to turn it way down even when the volume is only at like 5. I highly recomend the Valvking half stack to any who doesnt wanna play out the ass for an amp that isnt much better than a valveking. Over all SICK AMP!

Features
Everything is awesome, and the texture knob on the back lets you mess with your tone so good so you can find your perfect tone. the only thing i think they could improve on it is that the effects loop is on the front of the head. Moving it to the back would be a lot better in my opinion.

Ease of Use
easy to use, not a whole bunch of useless effects on it or anything so its pretty simple to figure it out and get the perfect read more tone your looking for

Quality
Very good quality!

Value
BEST TUBE HALF STACK ON THE MARKET FOR THE PRICE! PERIOD!!

Manufacturer Support
they have a good warrenty and peavey is AWESOME about helping their customers out. Nothing has gone wrong with mine in the 2 years that iv had it so i havent had to deal with getting support for it.

The Wow Factor
the head looks pretty sweet but the cab it comes with is nothing special really. could use some better looks
