Pearl VBL984C VBL Birch Limited Bop Shell Drum Kit, 4-Piece

The affordable Pearl VBL Vision BOP is 100 per cent birch shells with extra focus and cut. Ideal for both stage and studio, the Vision Birch has a focused naturally EQ'd sound. Vision Birch 984C shell pack comes standard with professional two ply heads and a Steel SensiTone snare drum.

This special configuration is for the Jazz or Funk player where a compact kit is desired. Standard Bop sizes include a 12 x 8 inch Rack Tom, 14 x 14 inch Floor Tom, but an 18 X 16 inch Bass, Drum TH900 Tom Holder and matching 14 X 5.5 inch all birch snare. Coated Remo Ambassador Batter heads are stock and perfectly suited for this configuration.

Steel SensiTone Snare

You'll get an incredible crack! from this streamlined steel snare drum. The chrome finish stands up to most expensive snare drums from other manufacturers. Pearl's innovative SR-900 Duo-Motion strainer can be converted from a side lever action to a Gladstone-type throw-off. The precision contoured lever allows for fast and absolute on/off function. A large adjustment knob insures fine tuning for superior snare sensitivity.

Pearl's Superior Shell Technology utilizes a proprietary technique for achieving the ultimate air chamber. The wood plies are saturated with Pearl's proprietary AcoustiGlue that permeates every pore and dries to the exact consistency of the wood for optimum resonance.
