Product Description

DJ's all over the world claim very high demands to their professional equipment, among which the cartridges "plays" their decisive part by realizing the scratching, back-cueing, and live artistic performance, as a big part of the show. Reliability and robustness is vital, when the cartridges night after night will have to withstand these demands in environments with extreme sound pressure and vibration.

Scratching and back-cueing impose heavy mechanical stress on the cantilever and its rubber bearing. Therefore, the Ortofon disco cartridges are equipped with cantilevers made from aluminum tube with increased wall thickness. Special attention has also been paid to the attachment of the bearing and the design of the bearing itself. This means that rough treatment will neither damage the cartridge nor degrade its stability.

Reminder: a replacement stylus is just the needle portion, which is useful only to those already owning the cartridge. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Ortofon products.

Sound: Sounds lovely, good response for all freq's. Feature: Looks dead sexy, comes in Elizabeth Duke style velour case for lugging about. Also includes little brushes and stylus caps for protection. Ease of Use: A doddle. No setting up required. Just lock on and go. Quality: Perfect. Nuff said. Value: Bit pricey, but you want it, you need it, you buy it. Manufacturer Support: Needs no support. Everyone stocks stylus. Nothing ever goes wrong with them. The Wow Factor: Very sexy and sleek. Blue is my favourite colour. Overall: I dont think I will ever change from concordes. They are easy to cue up ('cos they are pointy), pick up zero fluff, look great, wear well (I have not broken one in three years) I recomend them to every one.

Sound: Spinning Dnb I can say that this really contrasts hi and low frequency sounds very well. unlike shure cartriges that focus too much on output and bass, I choose this needle for its response, sound spectrum and detail of the sound. Quality: Yes, this product is professional in every way. Value: little on the pricey side, but well worth the investment. The Wow Factor: sexy as a long legged model-type chick Overall: my friend has it I just use it to spin my dnb, you will be golden for a long time if you take care of this gem. Very durable, sound is vivid, quick response, stable when scratching, and overall quality. just ordered my s night club ortofons.
