The Martin CS-Bluegrass-16 is a beautiful Dreadnought that is limited to only 100 fine instruments. Classic styling, such as herringbone top inlay with large soundhole and antique top toner, grained ivoroid binding, and ebony fingerboard and bridge are combined with an Adirondack spruce top with Vintage Tone System (VTS), Guatemalan rosewood back and sides and hide glue construction to give bluegrass players the tone and volume they desire.

Likely with only 100 guitars made in 2016 (the centennial year of the dreadnaught), there will be limited availability. I was lucky enough to get one. Out of the case it screamed "Play Me!" and she was right...a beautiful tribute with vintage appointments galore (hide glue, Adirondack, gorgeous Guatemalan Rosewood, modified pro neck, squared headstock, extra-thin finish....makes this a tribute to what was intended--to the Dread, to Clarence White's 1935 D-28 and to Tony Rice's playing. 1 3/4" at nut, wide spacing at the bridge give this a sweet comfortable playability that you must experience!
