Feature:
Lots of features that all sound like crap,eg. the reverbs are real bad.
Quality:
It seems well made but again it sounds lousy.
Value:
A waste of money. Buy a small used tube amp and SM 57 for way better sound.
Desirability:
I bought it and didn't like it, do you want it? CHEAP
Sound:
Thought it would be somthing I would use when I bought it, wrong. No matter what you have heard it the models do not sound like the orginals. It always ends up sounding like a proccesor not a real miked amp.
Ease of Use:
I guess it is easy to use, but what would you use it for?
Support:
Lots of support but still does not change the sound of it.
Overall:
A weekend and I was ready to give it away.

Feature:
The Cab A.I.R. feature was quite cool and would have worked quite well if the actual amps them selfs where good. I found myself hurtling through all the cab settings for my distortion sounds but when i used the nice clean sounds i found that they where best in there origional form. Also Gear box is great. (basically a visual of everything your doing in the pod) Line 6 tone port didnt work on my duel core intel mac so i couldnt download any custom tones.
Quality:
Looked great, everything was working ok (and yes sounding bad) until it just stoppd working. nice...
Value:
As far as value goes, if you like all the presets on this then its very good value. However i don't and the price I payed isnt justified in 4 or 5 great sounding clean tones as i will not use them often and as said before, i got this peice of equiptment to record metal guitar distortion.
Desirability:
It looks great, the nobs and layout is great, the red colour looks realy nice. Basically its a nice peice of kit to have on your work desk, but thats if its for show only.
Sound:
Like most digital amp replicators ive found that they have great clean and chorus effects but realy bad distortion. Unfourtunatly, the PODxt is no different, (that being said it is deffinatly the best i have encountered), which is a shame as most of the gear i use is Line 6 and there all great. All of the distortion pre-sets are pretty dam bad. As another review said; At first they all sound great, however, once you get familiar with them, they do just sound crap :( HOWEVER... the reason ive been so leaniant towards the distortion end of the pod is its clean sounds. They are simply amazing, both when recording and when playing live. But thats not why i got the pod, it boasts the mesa boogie dual rectifer recreation, (practically the main reason i got it) but as far as sound goes, it just inst there. It sounds digital, and theres no two ways around it. I wanted "studio standard" distortion recording, but didnt get it.
Ease of Use:
I couldn't fault the Pod for ease of use. The LED window is INCREDIBLY easy (another reason i dont want to see the pod go) takes two minutes to
Support:
Havent dealt with them, im just taking it back to the shop.
Overall:
I am just not satisfied with this product. It's given me nothing but frustration for the past 2 months. Ive spent countless hours upon hours fiddling and tweaking but never coming out with anything to be proud off. The best thing i could get was using a clean amp and cab and using my distortion pedal for the effect, (which hands down beat all of the distortion amps in the pod!) I am taking it back to the shop tomorow! If you want the clean effects and the free DAW then this is for you, (if you have the money for just those effects) but realy, if you have a trained ear, youl hear how thin and digital the sounds are in this unit.
