Plug a microphone or guitar into the Lindell 18XS mkII preamp/DI, then dial in punchy lows and creamy highs with a Pultec-inspired 2-band equalizer section.

The Lindell Audio 18XS MkII is a one channel transformer coupled microphone preamplifier, DI, line amplifier and passive Pultec equalizer. It's an Class A design based upon Lindell's Hybrid amplifiers.

The Equalizer is Lindell's take on the magical classic Pultec design. It's got 15db boost of the creamiest high end you've ever heard and the most punchy low end heard in the 21th Century.
Lindell has also incorporated their famous "Mix Knob" from the 17X compressor. This means that you can parallel equalize your line input. This gives you more flexibility and a different way of creating tones.

This preamp sounds great. The EQ section of this preamp is where it shines, there is so much control. The mix knob is a great feature blending a dry signal and a wet signal just adds to the unit. I've tracked vocals and bass guitars so far and everything sounds great in the mix. Overall I would recommend this unit and for the money its a win win.
