The rock-solid and ultra-fast Atlas-5 5-piece Wenge/Bubinga neck with a stunning Bound Birdseye Maple fretboard and Premium fret edge treatment offers superior tone and playing comfort over all the fret positions. Electronics include Nordstrand "Big Single" pickups for a full-bodied, powerful, aggressive tonal texture, while still retaining the clarity that's characteristic of single coil pickups. Combined with the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ w/EQ bypass switch & Mid frequency switch, the SR5SMLTD can always provide the desired tone for any style.
