With features like a 12th-fret body joint, old-school Butterbean open-gear tuners, and a slotted headstock, the Ibanez AVD1 is clearly vintage-inspired.

The Ibanez AVD1 is a Dreadnought that recalls early 20th Century guitars. The vintage dread body style, slotted headstock, and 12th fret body joint echos pre-war instruments coveted by collectors. A solid Sitka Spruce top and mahogany back and sides create a warm, full balanced tone while the bone nut and saddle guarantee premium transfer of string vibration. The sound hole is 105mm -- slightly larger than the average dreadnought -- for increased clarity and articulation. The AVD1 also features a Mahogany neck, Rosewood bridge and fretboard, Abalone rosette, and a natural high gloss finish. Chrome, turn-of-the-century Butterbean open gear tuners complete the ol'-timey vibe.
