Nothing sings out as bold and true as a Guild jumbo acoustic guitar. If you like the projection of a real jumbo acoustic, this guitar is for you! The F-50 is one of the original Guild flat-tops. First made in 1954, it reigned atop the Guild acoustic line and would go on to be popularized by exceptional players such as Eric Clapton, who graced the cover of the 1968 Guild catalog with his F-50.

Today's F-50 has many features of the best vintage instruments, with a 4.8"-deep body, a relocated "X" bracing pattern and a sculpted rosewood bridge. Other features include a solid AAA spruce top, arched figured maple back and solid figured maple sides, a bound ebony fingerboard with traditional mother of pearl and abalone block inlays, "G"-shield headstock logo, gold hardware and a pure nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

Sound
This was hands down the best guitar i'VE EVER OWNED.i BOUGHT IT NEW BAcK IN 1976,and get this, musis store price was around 750.00.Believe that.Unfortunitelly, times got tough a couple of years back and I had to sell it.Fortunately,I got 1500.00 for it but I WISH i HAD IT BACK. o.iT BEAT OUT ANY MARTIN,TAYLOR or any other prodution guitar.I also had inststalled a Martin Gold Plus in it and this guitar rang out like no other guitar i've ever heard. So if you play accoustic, start saving your pennies and get one of these GUILD F50'S,I know won't regret.I'm going to get another one soon before they go up another grand. AND YOU CAN COUNT ON IT BEING ANOTHER BLOND.
