What's special about this item?

Rosewood fretboard Open, warm tone and smooth playing feel
American Standard P Bass Alnico V pickup Thick and warm tone, great projection, and no hum

Fender invented the electric bass guitar, introducing the Precision Bass in 1951. Its thick sound and indestructible build changed the face of popular music. New American Standard Precision basses are today's versions of the great instruments of bass heroes past and present-the modern interpretations of the classic instrument, refined for today's players.

The new American Standard Precision basses feature Fender's new high-mass vintage bridge, a thinner finish undercoat that lets the body breathe and improves resonance, new and improved Fender tuning keys that keep the classic look but are 30 percent lighter, a richer and deeper neck tint for a more elegant appearance, a great-looking glossed rosewood fingerboard and satin back for smooth playability, a new Fender-exclusive SKB molded case and a gorgeous new Blizzard Pearl finish option.

Plain, simple, and gorgeous.
Sound
I'm taking the factory strings off and put flats on her, getting rid off the squeak and bringing on the smooth.
Features
Very simple, that's what I like about her. I did take off the strap buttons and put strap locks on. Love the feel of the neck. I got the 3 tone with a rosewood fingerboard. When I got her out of the box and opened up the case I need a towel and a cigarette.
Ease of Use
Very simple, very easy
Quality
I'm satisfied with my fender p bass
Value
I'm keeping this one. I've wanted the 3 tone with rosewood fingerboard for a long, long time and I finally got her. What really made it possible for me to get her was the 10 payments at 120. Hope zZOUNDS will bring back the 10 payments every now and then. Also, it comes with the skb hard shell case.
Manufacturer Support
Don't need it.
The Wow Factor
The 3 tone rosewood fingerboard is gorgeous and for me it's an American made fender standard p bass.
