DDT Drop Down Tuning Bass Strings go right into tune and lock in thanks to Coated Core Technology (CCT), a coated hexagonal core wire that locks the stainless-steel wrap wire in place to increase stability and maintain intonation at any tension. Now you can deliver notes at lower pitch that are clean, clear and in tune. Change tunings and DDT's lock right in and require little to no adjustment between play.

Sound
great sound. these strings are pretty bright sounding which is what i like, they almost sound like stainless strings, i dont know if they are but in drop c they sound very clear.
Features
seem to have a small outer winding so that they are smoother than more rugged strings.
Ease of Use
these strings are just like they say super stable so you can drop your action and play fast.
Quality
the only problem i have with these strings is that the E string broke on me at the saddle of the bridge. it might have just been a lemon or something but i was in drop C so it didnt have hard tension on it and shouldnt have broken even with heavy picking. this was about two weeks after they were strung up.
Value
these strings are expensive but then again theyre hand made so. . .
