DOD FX86B Death Metal Distortion Pedal

No longer available at zZounds
Knobs for: Level, Low, Mid, and High.

The FX86 is the premier distortion for the death metal guitarist. There is no way of getting more low end or more distortion in this life. That's why it's called the death metal pedal. Although it creates an unnatural amount of distortion, your solos still cut through with amazing clarity.

The Wrath of DOD
Thou shalt not make me come down there! No fury could touch the hell bent for metal sounds produced by the Wrath of DOD collection. If your music makes eardrums bleed, if your band could be used as a military weapon, or you just want to prove your axe is the meanest on the block, the Wrath of DOD has something for you.

Operates on 9-volt battery or optional AC adapter.

"DOD has done it again with the loudest, most kick-ass distortion pedal of all time: The FX86B, Death Metal Distortion!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I expect this pedal to last me for a long time. If ever I have to replace it, I will replace it with another of its kind, or a Boss DS1 distortion or Ibanez Tubescreamer.
Sound
The sound of this pedal is incredible. It offers such a wide range of distortion--anywhere from Lynyrd Skynyrd to ACDC to Black Sabbath to Emperor. The only thing that could possibly make this pedal better would be the addition of a distortion control knob.
Features
Everything about this pedal is useful.
Quality
The DOD Death Metal Distortion pedal is very well made. I have dropped it several times from about a 6 foot height and it has yet to break or malfunction in any way. I've kickd it multiple times, but it just keeps up with every bit of abuse you dish out (whether it be accidentally or on purpose).
Value
It was way worth the price

The Wow Factor
It's like Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in a pedal. If you don't want it, you're insane.
