20 studio-quality effects. Up to 8 effects at a time.

Meet the newest member of the incredibly popular RP modeling floor processor line - the new feature-packed RP50. Their engineers built the RP50 with the great tone and effects you expect from DigiTech, including award-winning amp, cabinet, and pick-up modeling, as well as an arsenal of studio-quality effects. They didn't skimp on the processing either. The RP50 uses the AudioDNA DSP chip to ensure that both modeling and effects are world-class. Plus 24-bit A/D/A conversion so that no frequency response is lost between inputs and outputs.

And when they weren't looking, Digitech's engineers even snuck in a drum machine with 30 patterns and an easy-to-use 13-LED array tuner. Then they made sure that the RP50's user interface was so simple a drummer could operate it (well, most drummers anyway).

"Best Damm Lil' guitar Processor Today!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I've had this for 6 years now,and it ain't going nowhere!

Sound
I cannot believe how many great tones I can get out of this little unit.I have used this in a live setting many of times and have had no problems with it at all.One of my favorites on here is the acoustic tone, along with the talk box effect that I can get.Simply put, this pedal rocks!

Features
Mine came with a power adaptor, which is great because you sdon't have to get and get batteries, thus saving you some cash, because this thing eats up batteries very quickly I might add.I use every feature on here except for the drum machine, which to me,isn't that good.

Ease of Use
It's very easy to use.I bought mine brand new in 2002,and it only took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to set it up and program it.This pedal will make any type of amp sound great,no matter what it is.

Quality
As we all know, this un it has a plastic casing, whereas the other RP models have metal casings.I have read a lot of reviews where people were saying that the casing breaks very easily.Well guess what? If you don't stomp on it and take care of it,it'll last you a long time.Like I mentioned earlier,I've had mine since 2002,and not once had I had to worry about breaking the casing, because I baby my gear, and money doesn't grow on trees.

Value
I originally paid $59.99 for mine, and now I see that read more they're going for $49.99.For the buck, this is the best effects processor out there, bar none.I would definately buy another one if I had to.I couldn't see myself without it.

Manufacturer Support
Never had to contact them.

The Wow Factor
Nothing spectacular about the look of this pedal. The only thing that's appealing is the fact that for the price, you can get a ton of effects and save some serious money on having to buy pedals.
