The DigiTech iStomp changes everything. The iStomp can be turned into any effect. In about the same time it takes to download a song you can change the iStomp from distortion to reverb, phaser to tube overdrive, or delay to chorus. iStomp comes loaded with DigiTech's Total Recall digital delay and signature Redline Overdrive. Don't settle for one effect pedal when you can have them all.

The iStomp includes the pedal, 9VDC Power Supply and DigiTech Smart Cable for iOS devices (DSC). NOTE: iPod, iPad, and/or iPhone not included.

"Lots of potential."

Overall: The iStomp is pretty slick. Hook up your Apple device, load your pedal de jour, unhook, and away you go. With all the different pedals offered through the iStomp app, this box is both the perfect way to start out your pedal collection, and can fit onto even the most expansive of boards. Even if you never buy a box beyond the first few included (two free with one more of your choosing for $.99 upon first launching the app) this is still multiple pedals for $150 - an excellent buy. The customizable labels and configurable color LED are a nice touch. The app is easy to use and loads effects quickly (~30 seconds). All the effects I've tried sound great for a digital pedal. There's a lot of potential here - I'm looking forward to where DigiTech will take this platform. Maybe a higher-end iStomp 2?
