Eliminate cable clutter with this fully balanced 48-point 1/4" TRS patchbay. Each channel has a switch for 3 selectable modes: Normal, Thru and Half Normal.

Are you still crawling under your desk to hook up your gear? With the aid of the Behringer Ultrapatch Pro PX3000 patchbay, you'll only have to do that the first time you set up your instruments and interfaces. This 48-point balanced patchbay keeps all your cable connections tidy and neat, helping you to simplify workflow and eliminate cable clutter.

When it's time to connect one thing to another, all you have to do is insert a plug into 1/4-inch jacks on the patchbay, and select from one of three modes: Normal, Thru, or Half Normal. You won't have to crane your neck to see the rear of a unit, or get behind a rack to connect an Out to an In. This three-mode balanced patchbay helps you turn your attention away from the gear itself and to the more important thing: making music. Not just for studios, the Ultrapatch Pro PX3000 will serve you well on stage, so that tearing down your setup doesn't become a tangled chore.

Multifunctional 3-Mode System

All 48 1/4-inch TRS connectors on the Ultrapatch Pro PX3000 are fully balanced, and three modes are available for routing your gear: Normal, Thru, and Half Normal. Normal mode interconnects the two rear jacks of one channel, and inserting a plug into one of the front jacks interrupts the connection of the rear jacks. Thru mode interconnects each rear jack with its corresponding front jack. And Half Normal mode interconnects the two rear jacks of one channel; inserting a plug into the lower front jack interrupts the connection of the read more rear jacks. Once you understand how the modes work, using the patch system is fairly straightforward.

The modes are selectable per channel via switches located on the top-side of the patchbay. Hint: When you rack the Ultrapatch Pro PX3000, you will want to leave some space above it, for easier access to the mode switches.

Reroute Your Wires Without Disturbing Your Studio

If you're used to working in studios where the first rule is "Don't mess with the wires!" then you understand the need for a good patchbay that will keep audio cables organized in a manner that makes sense to you. In case you can't remember which connection represents which unit, you can place a thin strip of painter's tape above or below the numbered connectors and write the names of your gear on the tape as a reminder.

Performs flawlessly with no noise and no signal degradation. Built like a tank and feels solid and weighty. Great price for what you get (check out other patch bays and you'll see). I added another rack to my project studio and needed another bay (this is my second px3000) to handle the new routings. The switches beat the heck out of having to take apart and change card positions to do straight thru or half and full normalling, and they too (the switches) feel solid and dependable. Don't waste your money on patch bays by higher profile "name" brands; get one or two of these instead.
