Transform your electric axe into a rich-sounding acoustic. The AM300 is a great solution for touring musicians with limited space in the van.

Having to switch out your trusty electric for an acoustic guitar in the middle of a set puts a real drag on your show's momentum. That's why Behringer created the Acoustic Modeler AM300, the pedal that transforms your favorite electric axe into a rich, resonating acoustic--faster than you can say the times, they are a-changin'.

Instant Acoustic Guitar

With the flip of a switch, the AM300 can produce the sound of four different acoustics: Standard, Large, Piezo and Bright. Thanks to its Out and Dir Out jacks, the AM300 functions very much like an A/B box. Just use the Dir Out to send your unprocessed electric guitar signal to your onstage amp, and the Out jack to send the processed acoustic signal to the main/monitor mixer(s).

It's So Easy

Dedicated Level, Enhance and Res(onance) controls allow you to fine-tune the acoustic model of your choosing. A status LED lets you know when it's activated, and you can power it with either a 9 V battery or a DC power supply (not included). A top-quality on/off switch maintains excellent signal integrity in bypass mode.

Value

Turn your electric fury into acoustic beauty with the Acoustic Modeler AM300. It will save you both time and money--and you can leave your precious acoustic guitar at home.

Well, after having this pedal for a few weeks I can say that it is a great addition to your home studio setup. I did up 17 audio samples for the pedal that folks can check out. On Soundcloud, just search for oim-review-tracks. The all start with Omni. For them I run thru a ton of various settings, showing how the unit responses differently according to your pickup selection. You can also hear it in a demo track I made to show of the Vox Tonelab LE for some friends. In the track the AM300 is used for some strumming/pad/filler sounds stating at the 2nd verse, and also to double the single-note run at the end. On Soundcloud, just search for oim-review-tracks/groove-vox-ngd-track-8-5-13 Bottom line, it does a great job within a mix, but buy itself....let me just say that like ALL the Acoustic modelers out there you will not do a full song solo & sound convincing at all. In a solo strumming or fingerstyle situation this pedal holds it's own with any other one out there IMHO. In the mix it sounds just as good as any other pedal out there. Listen to my demos and let YOUR ear's be the judge.... I would like to see if the AM400 with the RSM tech is worth the extra money, so if a Berry rep reads this I am open to doing the same run thru with it just to see..... "wink" " wink" This is a no-brainer if you are looking for this type of effect, it is WELL worth the cost.
